About the Role :
Overdose. is looking for a freelance Project Manager to support the successful delivery of eCommerce projects across platforms like Commercetools, Magento, and Shopify. Whether you're jumping into an existing project mid-flight or leading one from the ground up, your role will be critical in keeping things moving smoothly and aligned with client expectations.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, external partners, and clients to manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring quality outcomes without losing sight of the big picture. You’ll be someone who’s comfortable adapting quickly, staying organised under pressure, and keeping everyone in sync.

Responsibilities :
Step into projects at any phase; discovery, build, or somewhere in between, and take ownership of driving progress forward.
Lead or support discovery workshops, requirements gathering, and scoping sessions with clients and internal stakeholders.
Maintain project plans, track milestones, manage change requests, and keep timelines realistic and clear.
Communicate technical documentation and requirements in a way that aligns both business and delivery teams.
Keep deliverables aligned with the agreed scope, budget, and timelines.
Brief cross-functional teams on project requirements, expectations, and updates.
Proactively manage risks, solve problems, and remove roadblocks to keep things moving.Keep stakeholders informed on project status, timelines, and any key decisions or changes.
Oversee QA, UAT, and go-live processes to ensure a smooth handover.
Help ensure that final solutions meet expectations and drive real value for clients.
Skills & Experience :
Solid experience running eCommerce projects on platforms like Shopify, Magento, or Commercetools - either from start to finish or picking things up mid-project.
Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall environments (Scrum, Kanban).
A practical, hands-on approach to managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - especially when juggling multiple moving parts.
A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate issues before they escalate.
Tech-savvy enough to collaborate with developers and translate technical requirements.
Flexibility and resilience when things change (because they always do!).
Any relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) are a bonus.
