About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join the Overdose Digital team, with a primary focus on testing Magento 2 projects and ensuring all deliverables meet the highest quality standards. The QA Engineer will work closely with developers and project managers to create and execute structured test plans, thoroughly test websites across devices and browsers, and document any issues with precision.

This role is critical to maintaining seamless user experiences, delivering bug-free products, and supporting customer satisfaction through efficient and proactive QA processes.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough manual testing of Magento 2 websites, including functional, regression, exploratory and user acceptance testing.

• Create, manage, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and checklists to ensure project requirements are met.

• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing using tools like Browserstack and LambdaTest to validate performance and compatibility.

• Use debugging tools such as Google Chrome DevTools and FireBug to identify and document issues with clear reproduction steps and severity levels.

• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to align on quality expectations and testing priorities.

• Log bugs accurately in Wrike and ensure timely communication with internal teams to support quick issue resolution.

• Actively contribute to process improvements and adopt new QA methodologies and best practices.

• Stay up to date with platform updates, focusing on Magento 2, and continuously develop knowledge in HTML, CSS and API testing tools like Postman and JMeter.
  
  

Skills & Experience :

• Minimum 1.5 years of commercial experience in manual QA testing.

• At least 1 year of experience testing Magento 2 projects.

• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.

• Proficiency in Zeplin, TestRail and Wrike for test case management.

• Hands-on experience using Google Chrome DevTools and FireBug for debugging.

• Familiarity with cross-browser testing tools like Browserstack and LambdaTest.

• Ability to create and execute test cases, checklists, and test plans.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to write clear and concise bug/test reports.

• English proficiency: Conversational (Pre-Intermediate or above), Written (Intermediate or above).
