About the role :
As a Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Overdose, you'll take a leadership role in shaping, executing, and optimising digital marketing strategies across multiple paid and organic channels. With a focus on delivering measurable impact for clients, you'll be responsible for performance management, client communication, team development, and identifying new business opportunities.
You'll collaborate across internal teams, mentor junior marketers, and maintain long-term client success by delivering clear insights, strategic direction, and high-impact marketing execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and is passionate about digital innovation and results-driven marketing.
Responsibilities :
Develop, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube), Meta, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
Lead strategy from development through to execution, with a focus on driving measurable results and exceeding performance benchmarks.
Provide proactive recommendations to improve campaign outcomes and identify new growth opportunities.
Stay up to date on digital marketing trends, platform changes, and best practices.
Lead day-to-day communication with clients, including performance updates, strategy presentations, and troubleshooting.
Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders through consistent, transparent, and solution-focused communication.
Deliver monthly performance reports and quarterly strategy reviews with actionable insights using tools such as Google Data Studio and Google Analytics.
Translate reporting into data-driven strategies that guide decision-making and long-term success.
Identify and contribute to new business opportunities, retainer upsells, and client growth initiatives.
Maintain accurate and daily time tracking across all tasks using internal systems (e.g., Wrike, Slack, Confluence).
Ensure client hours and internal resources are effectively managed and reported in line with agreed deliverables.
Mentor and support the onboarding and development of junior team members.
Collaborate across departments to align strategies, share insights, and elevate overall marketing performance.
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and performance across the team.
Skills & Experience :
3–5+ years of digital marketing experience with a strong track record in cross-channel campaign delivery.
Deep expertise in Google Search, Shopping, Display, and YouTube campaigns (certifications preferred).
Solid experience managing campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
Working knowledge of other social platforms including Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat.
Strong understanding of product data feeds and feed management tools for platforms such as Google Shopping.
Experience with reporting platforms like Google Data Studio and analytics tools including Google Analytics.
Understanding of SEO fundamentals and on-page optimisation principles.
Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo, DotDigital) and eCommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento) is a plus.
Excellent client-facing skills, including confident presentation delivery and strategic communication.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw meaningful insights from complex data.
Proven ability to manage multiple clients, tasks, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and commitment to process excellence.
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
